My Approach
At InkSpot Nutrition I provide virtual nutrition counseling services to adults and adolescents with eating disorders, disordered eating, and anyone who wants to improve their relationship with food. I offer support as you work towards healing and reclaiming your relationship with food. I aim to help you strengthen this relationship, unveiling diet culture ideas and introducing joyful experiences with food. I use an approach that is individualized, ensuring that you receive nutrition care that supports your goals. ​​I use Intuitive Eating principles, Health At Every Size® (HAES®), and All Foods Fit modalities in my practice as we explore and improve your relationship with food.
What do the above terms mean?

Intuitive Eating is built on the mind-body connection of instinct, emotion, and rational thought. It focuses on the personal process of honoring your health by paying attention to the message your body gives. It focuses on helping you learn to meet your physical and emotional needs. The 10 principles working two ways- helps you gain body attunement, the ability to hear (and respond to) the physical sensations that take place in the body, and helps you remove obstacles to body attunement.

Health At Every Size® is a non-diet approach to healthcare and nutrition that focuses on healthy behaviors NOT weight loss. HAES® aims to reduce weight stigma, promote size acceptance, and provides a holistic view of health.

All Foods Fit says that there are no "good" foods or "bad" foods. It emphasizes that no food has moral value and focuses on removing judgements around food.
